WHY SRF ? FOR WHO ?
The manufacture of SRF has two main virtues.
Firstly, to recover locally collected waste that is normally fulfilled.
Secondly, to use SRF as a substitute for fossil fuels.
For example, SRF can supply cement plants instead of coal or petroleum products.
What is decarbonization ?
Decarbonization is the act of avoiding the use of fossil fuels such as oil, coal or gas and replace them with renewable energies. As part of the Paris Climate Agreement, consisting of a net reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the European Union has committed to reducing its share by at least 55% of by 2030 compared to 1990 levels and to achieve the objective of carbon neutrality by 2050.
The technological adaptation of the production tool to reduce GHG emissions are at the heart of French and European strategies for the decarbonization of industry. It is in this context that WIFUEL has developed its activity to limit the use of fossil fuels.
